Following God’s GPS and receiving the East Coast Blessings for Ariela

I want to Share with you our beautiful baby shower that we had here in NYC thanks to the blessing of having amazing friends who we now call family.
I am so grateful to God that even though we are miles away from our immediate families who live in California, God has definitely shown us and sent us lots of love through beautiful people in our new home, NYC.
This is even more confirmation that we are at the right place, at the right time. It’s amazing how God is always looking to satisfy and bring joy to every part of your life no matter where you’re at, as long as you are faithful to Him (God) and Loyal to His Plan for your life. God’s GPS is never wrong and always has the best destination in mind for you.
This past weekend we had the blessing of having a beautiful baby shower brunch for Ariela at Adoro Lei restaurant in SOHO, NYC, the food was delicious. It was such a blast, the organizing committee, Nina, Kristen, Astra and Christy did an amazing job, they had super fun games planned and everyone enjoyed them so much! For example they passed index cards and everyone had to put the card on their forehead and draw what they thought our baby will look like, it was hilarious. Most people just drew big eyebrows, big eyes and big smile! Another great detail they had was paper-cut-outs of onesies and guest’s had to write a wish for Ariela. They later combined all of the paper-onesies and made it into a booklet, that Edgar and I can read to Ariela when we are putting her to sleep. I really loved this detail that is full of beautiful wishes and love.
Being 34 weeks pregnant, I am enjoying this beautiful season in my life to the max. My husband, Ariela and I are overwhelmed and extremely grateful for all of the love, joy and prayers that so many people continuously pour into our life.

Quiero compartir con ustedes nuestro hermoso baby shower que tuvimos aquí en Nueva York, gracias a la bendición de tener amigos increíbles que llamamos ahora la familia.
Estoy muy agradecida con Dios de que a pesar de que estamos a miles de millas de distancia de nuestros familiares más cercanos que viven en California, Dios nos ha mostrado y nos a enviado un montón de amor a través de la gente hermosa en nuestra nueva casa, NYC.
Esto es señal y confirmacion de que estamos en el lugar correcto, en el momento adecuado. Es sorprendente cómo Dios está siempre buscando satisfacer y llevar alegría a cada parte de tu vida, no importa donde estés, todo el tiempo que Dios te sera fiel y leal a su plan para tu vida. El GPS de Dios nunca se equivoca y siempre tiene el mejor destino en mente para ti.
Este fin de semana pasado tuvimos la bendición de tener un hermoso almuerzo y baby shower para Ariela en el restaurante Adoro Lei en Soho, Nueva York, la comida estuvo deliciosa. El comité que organizo el baby shower, Nina, Kristen, Astra y Christy hicieron un excelente trabajo, tenían juegos súper divertidos y todos los disfrutaron mucho!
Por ejemplo, se pasó una hoja de papel para cada quien y todo el mundo tenía que ponerla en su frente y sin ver dibujar como piensan que nuestra bebé se verá, fue muy divertido. La mayoría de la gente acabo dibujandola con grandes cejas, ojos grandes y sonrisa grande! Otro gran detalle que tuvieron fue hacer de papel mamelucos chiquitos y todos los invitados tenian que que escribir un deseo para Ariela.
Más tarde se combinaron todos los papeles e hicieron un librito, que Edgar y yo podremos leerle a Ariela. Realmente me encantó este detalle que está lleno de bellos deseos y amor.
En estas 34 semanas de embarazo, estoy disfrutando mucho esta hermosa etapa en mi vida. Mi marido, Ariela y yo estamos llenos de alegria y agradecimiento con Dios y con todos por tanto amor la alegría y sus oraciones.
