Tea Time in the City

I want to share with you some pictures of my first time having teatime in New York City.

NYC has the cutest restaurants. One of my favorites is inside the Bergdorf Goodman store on 5th ave and W 58th St. The restaurant is located on the 7th floor. My girlfriend Daniele introduced me to it and invited me to have Tea. It was such a fun time, I felt like I was on an episode of “Sex in the City.” The restaurant is one of the cutest and most chic little spot’s overseeing Central Park.

It is always fun to try something new. Did you know that teatime was invented in the 18th century amongst aristocrats? Teatime came about because people found themselves hungry during the gap of lunch and dinnertime. This tradition still continues and it is a fun and cute way to have some quality time with girlfriends or why not even your boyfriend.

Even more important is to fill our Spirit throughout the day. Our Spirit hungers for hope, peace and joy. We can fulfill this hunger by saying a prayer where ever your at asking God to refill your Spirit, listening to worship music, reading the bible or a short devotional. Thanks for hanging out with me again this week; I just got a little hungry lol. Time to go eat. Blessings and provecho.

Psalm 107:9

For He (God) satisfies the longing soul, and the hungry soul he fills with good things.
